Chris O'Connor is a versatile attorney with a strong foundation in condominium association law and experience handling complex litigation in construction, real estate, and business matters. Licensed in Massachusetts and Florida, Chris combines courtroom experience with a practical understanding of community association governance and legal disputes.
Chris earned his J.D. from The University of Alabama School of Law, graduating in the top third of his class. During law school, he served as a Senior Editor for the Law and Psychology Review. His legal training included internships with an Alabama criminal defense firm, where he worked on death penalty matters across the state, and with a financial services company’s bankruptcy and real estate division, focusing on distressed asset sales under Section 363 of the Bankruptcy Code.
Following law school, Chris practiced with a Florida-based law firm known for its concentration in condominium and homeowners’ association law. There, he litigated a broad range of cases on behalf of condominium and homeowners’ associations throughout Florida.
